Silver Jack Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Ouray Ranger District of the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests in Colorado. The land is managed by the Forest Service, and the site has vault toilets. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Lake City show July highs around 77°F with lows near 44°F, while winter highs stay around 31°F with lows below zero. The Clear Lake hike starts just 0.3 miles away, and the Silver Jack Overlook mountain biking route is about half a mile off.
