McKindley Campground is a state park campground in Stagecoach State Park in northwest Colorado, managed by State Fish and Wildlife. It sits among a cluster of campgrounds and trails, with McKindley Group Campground just 0.1 mile away and Harding Spur Campground and Pinnacle Campground each about 0.2 mile off. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Yampa weather station show July highs around 79°F with lows near 46°F, while winter highs stay around freezing from December through February.
