The Saddles is a bouldering area in Donner Memorial State Park, California, within the Truckee Ranger District of Tahoe National Forest. The land is managed by State Park and Recreation, and the park sits about 3.9 miles from a nearby weather station at Donner Memorial State Park, which sits roughly 975 feet lower than the boulders. The area is a cluster of four boulders, with four routes listed, all of them bouldering. The grades range from V2 to V9, with the hardest being Hobo at V9. The closest neighbors are The Sarlacc Boulder and Unknown Boulder "A", each about 0.1 mile away. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby weather station show July highs around 82°F with lows near 44°F and only about two wet days. Winter is cold, with January highs around 41°F and lows near 17°F. The Emigrant Trail is about half a mile away, and the Mt. Judah Loop is about 1.3 miles off. Cold Creek, a paddling spot, is about 1.7 miles away, and Granite Flat campground is about 5 miles away.
