Grouse #6 is a bouldering area in the Truckee Ranger District of Tahoe National Forest in California, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with Grouse #1 and Southwest Face each about 0.1 mile away. The area is a bouldering destination, with six routes all rated V0 or V2 on the V scale. Winged Migration and Wingding are two of the named boulders, and Flight Deck is the hardest at V1. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 82°F with lows near 44°F and only about two wet days, while winter highs stay in the low 40s. The Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail #2000 passes about half a mile away, and the Donner Summit Lakes Trail is about 0.7 mile off. Milton Reservoir, roughly 1.5 miles away, offers fishing, and Granite Flat campground is about 6 miles away.
