Pink Wall is a sport climbing area in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area in California, managed by the National Park Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with Zombie Wall, Dream Street and White Wall all about 0.1 mile away, and the Sandstone Peak Trail just as close. The area is also near the Backbone Trail, about 0.3 mile off. The climbing here is all sport, and the routes run from about 5.10c up to 5.13a. Among the named routes are Cloud 9 (5.10c), Pretty in Pink (5.12a) and Thinner (5.13a). The grades are typical for the area, with the hardest route, Thinner, at 5.13a. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show April highs around 78°F and October highs around 85°F, while July and August average in the mid-90s. That station sits well below the wall, so temperatures on the rock run cooler. Circle X Ranch Group Campground is about 0.6 mile away for anyone planning an overnight stay.
