Prowler Area is a climbing area in California, about 1.4 miles from the town of Casa Conejo. The climbing areas around it cluster tightly. Fraggle Rock and the Hangout Area are each about 0.2 miles away, and Mystery Science Theater and Conejo Boulders are within 0.3 miles. The Index Finger Trail and the Ring Finger Trail are also close by, so a bouldering session or a hike can easily be paired with a route on the rock. For comfortable weather, late spring through early fall is the best stretch. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show highs in the mid-70s to about 80°F from May through September, with almost no wet days in June through August. That station sits several hundred feet lower than the area, so temperatures at the climbing spot run a bit cooler. For an overnight stay, Circle X Ranch Group Campground is about 6 miles away.
