Trail Creek is a moderate hike in the Scott River Ranger District of Klamath National Forest in California, managed by the Forest Service. The out-and-back route is about 4 miles long, rising from roughly 4,890 feet to about 6,930 feet. The trail is a natural-surface route, and the climb is more than 2,000 feet one way. It's best suited to hikers prepared for a steady ascent rather than a long day on the move. Several other destinations sit within a short drive. Fish Lake Creek is about a mile away, and the Six Mile and Twin Lakes hikes are both within about 2 miles. Paddlers can reach the East Fork South Fork Salmon River, about 3 miles off.
