Little Duck Lake is an easy hike of about 1.5 miles in the Russian Wilderness, part of the Scott River Ranger District of Klamath National Forest in northern California. The trail is natural-surfaced and out-and-back, with a one-way climb of about 340 feet from a low point of roughly 6,300 feet to a high of about 6,665 feet. The surrounding wilderness makes this a compact outing in a remote corner of the forest. The Forest Service manages the land, and the route stays within the Russian Wilderness. Several other hikes sit close by. Eaton Lake and Horseshoe are each about 0.9 miles away, and Sugar Lake is about 1.2 miles off. For an overnight stay, Trail Creek campground is about 6 miles away.
