Snake Creek is a 3.4-mile out-and-back hike in the Golden Trout Wilderness, on the Mt. Whitney Ranger District of Inyo National Forest in California. The trail is managed by the Forest Service, and the one-way climb gains about 374 feet, from a low of 8,322 feet to a high of 8,684 feet. It is a moderate route with a natural surface, and horses are allowed. The trail is not accessible. The closest neighbors are the Casa Big Dry MDW Cutoff, about half a mile away, and the Bigdry MDW-Litldry MDW Cutoff and the Casa Vieja Cutoff, both about a mile off. Troy Meadow Campground sits roughly 9 miles away.
