Lovers Camp is a short, easy hike on the Scott River Ranger District of Klamath National Forest in California, about half a mile from the Forest Service trail network. It's an out-and-back route that rises just 17 feet, from about 4,136 feet to about 4,154 feet. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from the nearby Callahan weather station show May highs around 73°F and October highs around 70°F, while July and August climb to about 90°F and winter brings lows near 28°F. Several other trails sit close by. Canyon Creek is about 0.1 mile away, Red Rock about 0.7 mile, and Box Camp about 0.9 mile. For climbing, Marble Mountain is about 3 miles away.
