Red Rock is a 9.4-mile out-and-back hike in the Marble Mountain Wilderness, part of the Scott River Ranger District of Klamath National Forest in northern California. The trail rises from about 4,200 feet to a high point of 6,339 feet, with a total elevation gain of 2,194 feet, and the Forest Service manages the land. The climb is a hard one, and the route's natural surface makes it a rugged outing. The high point sits at 6,339 feet, and the trip is best suited for hikers prepared for a long day with a significant climb. The nearest towns are about 10 miles away, so plan on a full day. Canyon Creek and Lovers Camp lie within a mile, and the Marble Mountain climbing area is about 2.3 miles off. For an overnight base, Indian Scotty Group Site is roughly 4.8 miles away.
