Indian Valley is a Forest Service campground in the Yuba River Ranger District of Tahoe National Forest in California. It sits among a cluster of campgrounds and trails, with Rocky Rest just 0.3 miles away and Fiddle Creek about 0.6 miles off. The site has vault toilets, and a fee is charged for stays. The nearest town is Downieville, about 9 miles away, and the weather station there sits roughly 600 feet lower than the campground, so temperatures here run a little cooler. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to visit.
