The Mg Gap Hollow Loop is a 6.2-mile out-and-back hike in the Bayou Ranger District of the Ozark-St. Francis National Forest in Arkansas. The trail reaches a high point of 1,405 feet and carries a total elevation gain of 1,632 feet for the round trip, with the steepest section at about 2.9 miles in at a grade of 13%. The route is rated hard, and its steady climb makes it a challenge. The trail surface is natural, and it is open to bikes and horses. It is not an accessible trail. Spring and fall are the most comfortable seasons to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run from highs around 70°F in April to about 72°F in October, with summer highs climbing to about 90°F.
