Hurr. Cr. Bypass Oht 02 Wilde is a 10.2-mile out-and-back hike in the Hurricane Creek Wilderness, part of the Buffalo Ranger District of the Ozark-St. Francis National Forest in Arkansas. The route rises from a low point of 792 feet to a high of 1,579 feet, with a steady climb that peaks at about 28% grade around mile 4.1. The trail is natural-surfaced, and the Forest Service manages the land. The most comfortable stretch for a visit runs from late spring into early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Deer, Arkansas, show May highs around 70°F and September highs around 75°F, with July and August warming to the low 80s. That station sits about 800 feet lower than the trail's high point, so temperatures on the route run cooler. The trip is open year-round, and the route is rated hard. Bikes and horses are not allowed. Haw Creek East, a climbing area, lies about 2.8 miles away, and the Deer Tower South Loop hike is about 3 miles off.
