Weavers Needle is a climbing area in the Superstition Wilderness, part of the Mesa Ranger District of Tonto National Forest in Arizona. The Forest Service manages the land, and the area sits within designated wilderness, which sets it apart as a backcountry destination rather than a developed recreation site. The climbing here is all trad, with six routes on record. The grades run from 5.2 up to 5.9+, with the median around 5.9. West Chimney is the easiest at 5.2, and Fool's Gold is the hardest at 5.9+. The Dutchman's Gold, first climbed in 1965 by Bill Forrest and Gary Garbert, is another of the more established routes. The Superstition Mountains climbing area is just 0.7 miles away, and Nosepicker Pinnacles and Wild Horse Wall are both within about 2 miles. For an overnight base, Tortilla Campground is roughly 7 miles off.
