The Torch is a climbing area in Arizona, on proposed open space managed by county land. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with Shadow Buttresses and The Bulges each about 0.1 mile away and Penguinland Area about 0.2 mile away. That makes it easy to pair with other routes in the same neighborhood. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to climb here. Typical averages from the nearby Superior, AZ weather station show March highs around 72°F and October highs around 84°F, while June and July average in the mid-90s. The area has 11 routes, with eight trad and three sport. The grades run from 5.7 to 5.11c. Bee's Brunch and Torch View are both 5.7 trad, and Torched is a 5.10b trad. Live and Let Dyno is the hardest, a 5.11c sport route. Oak Flat campground is about 2.8 miles away for an overnight stay, and the Legends of Superior Trail is about 3.1 miles away for a hike.
