Tasty Pancho is a bouldering area in the Kachina Peaks Wilderness, within the Flagstaff Ranger District of Coconino National Forest in northern Arizona. The Forest Service manages the surrounding land, and the area lies inside designated wilderness, so it is a backcountry destination rather than a developed trail. The climbing here is all bouldering, with 11 routes spread across the boulders of First Gully and Midway. The route named Tasty Pancho is one of them, and it sits at V4 on the V scale, with the hardest climb on site, The Cougar, at V10. The area is close to other boulders, including Deep South about 0.2 miles away. The most comfortable climbing weather comes in late spring and early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Ft Valley run from highs around 71°F in May to about 76°F in September, while winter highs stay in the mid-40s with lows in the teens. For a longer outing, Veit Spring Trail starts about 0.6 miles away, and Lockett Meadow Campground is roughly 6 miles off.
