Sycamore Wall is a climbing area in the Mesa Ranger District of Tonto National Forest in Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among several other climbing spots in this corner of the forest, and the nearest town is a short drive away. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run to highs around 81°F in April and 85°F in October, while July highs average about 103°F. That station sits well below the wall, so temperatures here run cooler. The Diamond hike is about a mile away, and the Colony climbing area is about 2.7 miles off. Boulder Mountain and El Oso Rodeo are both within about 5 miles, and Bartlett Flat campground is about 9 miles away for an overnight stay.
