Summit Block Rock is a climbing area in the Red Rock-Secret Mountain Wilderness, part of the Red Rock Ranger District of Coconino National Forest in Arizona. The Forest Service manages the land, and the area sits within designated wilderness. The climbing here is all trad, with five routes ranging from 5.8 to 5.10+. The easiest is Unknown 5.8, also known as Rap Route 5.8, and the hardest is The Quiet Storm at 5.10+. Dr. Rubo's Wild Ride is a 5.9, and Santa's Chimney and Shagging the Doctor are both 5.10. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Oak Creek Canyon show May highs around 78°F and October highs around 74°F, while July and August average about 90°F. Coffeepot Rock Area is just 0.1 mile away, and Tea Cup and Sugar Loaf Loop are both within about 0.4 mile. For an overnight stay, Chavez Crossing campground is about 3 miles off.
