South Park is a climbing area in the Santa Catalina Ranger District of Coronado National Forest in Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. It sits within the district's network of climbing and hiking spots, with several other areas and trails just a short distance away. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run to highs around 71°F in May and 68°F in October, with lows near 51°F and 49°F. That station sits well below the park, so temperatures here run cooler. Ventana Canyon Bouldering is just 0.3 miles away, and Upper Highway is 0.7 miles off. The Meadow hike and the Canada Del Oro mountain biking trail are both about 0.8 miles away.
