Loma Linda is a bouldering area in Arizona's Coronado National Forest, within the Santa Catalina Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the land. The climbing here is all bouldering, with six routes ranging from V0 to V3. Among them are Transcraft Eagle II and Tutu Girl at V0, Glowworm and The Iron Sheik at V2, and Besote and Moonlight Mile at V3. Alex Honnold and John Bachar have both left their marks on the routes. For a comfortable visit, aim for late spring or early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run from highs around 71°F in May to about 75°F in September. That station sits roughly 1,000 feet lower than Loma Linda, so temperatures up high run cooler. The Havens and Aspen Trail Boulders are both within a mile, and East Ski Run Road is a short hike away. Spencer Canyon offers camping about 1.7 miles off.
