Main Wall is a climbing area on the Mogollon Rim Ranger District of Coconino National Forest in Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of named climbing areas, with Casino Cliffs and Swiss Wall each about 0.1 mile away and Cracker Jack Cliffs about 0.2 mile off, which makes it easy to pair with other routes in the same stretch of the forest. The climbing here is all sport, and the routes run from about 5.10a up to 5.14, with the median grade around 5.12a. Lazarus, at 5.14, is the hardest listed route, and Blackened, at 5.10a, is the easiest. Among the other options are Mighty Morphin at 5.11b and Trick Mechanics at 5.12c. For timing, late spring and early fall tend to be the most comfortable seasons. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 70°F and September highs around 76°F, with lows in the upper 30s to low 40s. Winter brings highs in the mid-40s and lows near 17°F, so plan accordingly.
