Gollum's is a bouldering area in the Santa Catalina Ranger District of Coronado National Forest in Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with Gandalf's Gorge and The 8B Boulder just 0.1 mile away, and the Aspen hike and the Sunset mountain biking trail also within a tenth of a mile. The climbing here is all bouldering, with five routes spread across the V1-2 to V9 range. The Hamburglar is a V5-6 boulder, and Gollum's Roof is a V7-8. Lord of the Flies, the hardest of the five, is a V9. The area is best suited to climbers who enjoy bouldering on a range of grades, from the easier V1-2 to the more challenging V9. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Mt Lemmon Willow Canyon show May highs around 71°F and October highs around 68°F, while winter highs sit near 50°F. For an overnight stay, Spencer Canyon campground is about a mile away, and Whitetail Campground is about 1.5 miles off.
