Aspen is a hard hike in the Santa Catalina Ranger District of Coronado National Forest in Arizona, about 7.9 miles long with a one-way climb of 1,610 feet. It starts at a low point of about 7,442 feet and reaches a high of about 9,026 feet. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is a natural-surface out-and-back route that is not accessible. The trail allows horses, so riders can take the route. Climbers will find 8B Boulder, The and Gandalf's Gorge right by the start. North Sabino Canyon Park is about 0.2 miles away, and Spencer Canyon campground is about a mile off.
