The End of the Road is a climbing area in Arizona's Coronado National Forest, within the Santa Catalina Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the land, and the site sits close to several other climbing areas and hiking trails, making it an easy addition to a day spent exploring the district. The climbing here is a mix of sport and trad routes, with grades from about 5.7+ up to 5.11c. The routes are listed as a group of eight, with sport routes like Traveling Man (5.9+) and Call for Road Condition (5.11c) standing out, and trad routes such as The Beginning of the End (5.7+) and Dead End (5.10c/d) also on offer. Spring and fall bring the most comfortable weather. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run from highs in the mid-70s and lows around 40 in November to highs near 82 and lows around 54 in April. Summer highs there reach about 100 degrees. Agua Caliente Hill and Gnat Tank Trail are both within about a mile and a half, and Main Wall and Sahuaro Corners offer more climbing a little farther out.
