The Expansion Pack is a climbing area in Arizona's Coronado National Forest, on the Santa Catalina Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the land, and the area sits close to several other climbing spots and the Molino Basin recreation corridor, making it an easy addition to a trip that includes rock and trail. Spring and fall bring the most comfortable weather. A nearby weather station records typical averages of highs around 74°F and lows near 48°F in March, and highs around 86°F and lows near 59°F in October. That station sits about 1,000 feet below the area, so temperatures up here run cooler. The climbing here is sport-oriented, with a single trad route. Six routes make up the area, ranging from 5.10c/d to 5.12b. Among them are Faking News at 5.10c/d, Crackhead Anonymous at 5.11a/b in trad, and Alternative Fact Checking at 5.12b. The Draw Pile and Players Club both sit about 0.1 mile away. Molino Basin Group campground is about a mile off, and Molino Vista offers mountain biking within half a mile.
