Delta Dome

Delta Dome is a climbing area in the Pusch Ridge Wilderness, part of the Santa Catalina Ranger District of Coronado National Forest in Arizona. The Forest Service manages the surrounding land, and the area falls within designated wilderness. The climbing here is sport-oriented, with 13 sport routes and two trad routes among its 15 routes. Most of the routes grade between 5.9 and 5.12. Summit access is a trad route at 5.9, and Southwest Rib is the hardest at 5.12. The weather station at Mt Lemmon Willow Canyon, about 4 miles away, sits at a similar elevation. Typical averages there run to highs around 71°F in May and 75°F in September, with winter highs near 50°F. Summer highs typically sit in the low 80s. Other climbing areas sit within a short distance, including The Steep and Continuum Crag, both about 0.2 miles away. The Aspen hike starts 0.5 miles off, and Spencer Canyon campground is 0.8 miles away.
