The Biscuit is a sport climbing area on Bureau of Land Management land in the Tucson Field Office of Arizona, about 0.1 mile from the Main Ampitheater. The land is managed by the BLM, and the climbing here is all sport, with 10 routes spread across a range of grades from 5.7+ to 5.10d. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to climb. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show April highs around 75°F and October highs around 78°F, while July and August bring highs near 89°F and about 14 wet days a month. That station sits roughly 1,300 feet lower than the area, so temperatures at the Biscuit run cooler.
