The Attic is a climbing area in the Douglas Ranger District of Coronado National Forest in Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of named climbing areas, with Grad Rock, Trad Rock and Rad Rock all about a tenth of a mile away. The routes here range from 5.9 to 5.10c/d, with six sport routes and two trad routes among the eight listed. Sport climbers will find Black Ice and Wet Mop to the Face, and trad climbers can try Grungy Mungie and Didn't See That Coming. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to climb. Typical averages from the Tombstone weather station, about 12 miles away, show April highs near 79°F and October highs near 81°F, while July and August climb to the mid-90s. Hikers can head to Slavin Gulch, about 0.8 miles away, or Smith Hill Trail at about 1.3 miles. For an overnight stay, Cochise Stronghold campground is roughly 4.3 miles away.
