The Assassin's Cradle is a bouldering area in the Santa Catalina Ranger District of Coronado National Forest in Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing and hiking spots, with Ronald's Chasm and River Boulder both about 0.1 mile away and North Sabino Canyon Park a similar distance off. The area is a bouldering destination, with 13 routes listed, all of them boulders. The grades run from V0-1 up to V12, with the median around V4. Among the named routes are Moonwalk at V0-1, Death By 1000 Papercuts at V10, and Double Tap SDS at V12, the hardest of the bunch. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Mt Lemmon Willow Canyon show May highs around 71°F and October highs around 68°F, while winter highs sit near 50°F. Spencer Canyon campground is about 1.1 miles away, and Whitetail Campground is about 1.7 miles away.
