Afternoon Delight is a bouldering area in Phoenix South Mountain Park, Arizona, on city land. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with Split Rock Area, Crown Boulder and Delusions of Grandeur Boulder all about 0.1 mile away. The Guadalupe Perimeter Trail also starts within a tenth of a mile. The area is a bouldering destination, with 10 routes on the V scale, ranging from V0 to V9-10. The route named Afternoon Delight is a V3 boulder problem, and Weissman Score is the hardest at V9-10. The first ascents of several of these routes were done by Joel Wainwright and Dave Rosen. Winter and early spring are the most comfortable times to visit.
