Dragon Egg is a climbing area in the Flagstaff Ranger District of Coconino National Forest in Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with Main Drainage and 3) Smaug both about 0.1 mile away. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Ft Valley show May highs around 71°F and October highs around 66°F, while July and August bring the most wet days of the year. Mountain bikers can head to the Blue Dot Trail, about 0.4 mile away, and the Forces of Nature trail, about 0.5 mile away. Little Elden Springs Horsecamp is about 3 miles off for an overnight stay.
