Granite Trail is a short, easy mountain biking route in Arizona's Tonto National Forest, within the Mesa Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is an out-and-back that covers about 0.78 miles with a total elevation gain of 95 feet. The climb is front-loaded, with the steepest stretch at about 0.28 miles in, and the high point sits at 1,512 feet. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at E Mesa show March highs around 77°F and November highs around 77°F, while June and July average in the mid-100s. The trail sits close to several other routes. Saguaro Trail is about 0.2 miles away, and Mo Ridge Trail and Ridge Trail are each about 0.3 miles off. For an overnight stay, Larry Forbis campground is roughly 6.7 miles away.
