Granite Trail is a short, easy mountain biking route in the Mesa Ranger District of Tonto National Forest in Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is an out-and-back that covers about 0.66 miles, with a total elevation gain of 75 feet. The climb is front-loaded, with the steepest stretch at about 0.09 miles in, where the grade reaches 8 percent. The high point is 1,416 feet, and the low point is 1,328 feet. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at E Mesa show March highs around 77°F and November highs around 77°F, while June and July average in the mid-100s. Several other trails sit within a short distance. Saguaro Trail and Mo Ridge Trail are both about 0.3 miles away, and Ridge Trail is about 0.4 miles away. For an overnight stay, Larry Forbis campground is about 6.8 miles off.
