Ridge is a moderate hike of about 3.9 miles in the Mesa Ranger District of Tonto National Forest in Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is an out-and-back with a low point of about 1,366 feet and a high of about 1,740 feet, and it gains about 352 feet in elevation. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from the nearby Fountain Hills weather station show March highs around 74°F and November highs around 74°F, while June and July average in the low to mid 100s. The trail is natural-surfaced and allows bikes. The Roadrunner Trail and the Hawes hike both start about 0.1 mile away, and the Saguaro hike is about 0.4 mile off. For an overnight stay, Larry Forbis Campground is about 7 miles away.
