Easy Breezy Trail is a 0.48-mile singletrack mountain biking route in Arizona's Red Rock Ranger District of Coconino National Forest, managed by the Forest Service. The name is a misdirection: this black diamond route is a serious technical challenge, with steep, rocky sections and features that test even experienced riders. The out-and-back format means you'll face the same obstacles twice, making it a concentrated test of advanced skills. The trail climbs about 72 feet one way, with the high point at 4,278 feet and the low at 4,197 feet. The steepest stretch comes early, at about 0.09 miles in, with a 5% grade. The round trip is roughly 0.96 miles and gains and loses about 145 feet. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Sedona show October highs around 79°F and April highs around 75°F, while July averages reach 97°F. The trail sits close to other routes. Easy Breezy #192 is about 0.1 mile away and Hermit #172E about 0.2 mile. Bell Rock / Courthouse Butte, a climbing area, is about a mile off, and Chavez Crossing campground is about 2 miles away.
