Bail Trail is a short, moderate singletrack mountain biking route in Arizona's Red Rock Ranger District of Coconino National Forest, about 2.3 miles from the town of Big Park. The trail is an out-and-back that covers just over a mile round trip, with a high point of about 4,400 feet and a total climb of about 100 feet. It's a compact ride that packs technical challenges into a short format, making it a good choice for skill building or a quick session. The trail is rated moderate, and its blue square rating reflects varied terrain that tests intermediate riders. Desert singletrack like this typically features rocky sections, loose surfaces and natural obstacles, so good bike handling skills are a must. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to ride.
