Widforss Trail is a 9.3-mile out-and-back hike in Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona, managed by the National Park Service. The route rises 229 feet from a low point of about 7,956 feet to a high of about 8,277 feet, making it a moderate climb that stays close to the rim's edge. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically June and July, when typical averages from a nearby weather station at Bright Angel run in the low to mid 70s for highs and bring the fewest wet days of the year. Winter is cold, with typical January highs around 36°F. A fee is charged for the hike, and the trail sits within the park's boundaries. Widforss Point lies just 0.1 mile away, and the Arizona Trail passes within 0.3 mile. North Rim Campground (AZ) is about a mile off for an overnight stay.
