The Walhalla Glades Trail is a 14.5-mile out-and-back hike in Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona, on land managed by the National Park Service. It rises from a low point of 7,907 feet to a high of 8,501 feet, with an elevation gain of 1,103 feet one way, and the route is rated hard. The most comfortable months for a visit tend to be June and September, when typical averages from a nearby weather station run to highs around 73°F and 67°F. July and August bring the warmest highs, near 77°F, while winter months typically hover around freezing. The station sits about 500 feet lower than the trail's high point, so expect temperatures up top to run a bit cooler. A fee is charged. The trail starts close to several other hikes, including the Francois Matthes Trail, about 0.1 mile away, and the Roosevelt Point Loop, about 0.8 mile away. Komo Point Trail is about 1.1 mile away, and North Rim Campground (AZ) is about 5.4 miles away.
