Old Bright Angel Trail is a moderate 10.1-mile out-and-back hike in Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona, managed by the National Park Service. The trail rises about 3,970 feet from its low point at 4,537 feet to a high of 8,510 feet. A fee is charged, and bicycles are not allowed. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run to highs around 73°F in June and 77°F in July, with lows near 49°F. Winter is cold, with January highs around 36°F and lows near 18°F. Roaring Springs Trail lies about half a mile away. Bridal Path and Grand Canyon National Park's climbing area are about 1.7 miles off. North Rim Campground (AZ) is about 2.4 miles away.
