Phoneline Link is an easy hike of about 1.5 miles, with a total elevation gain of 429 feet, in the Santa Catalina Ranger District of Coronado National Forest in Arizona. It is a short, out-and-back route that rises from about 2,772 feet to about 3,193 feet. The Forest Service manages the trail, and its natural surface makes it a simple walk. Bikes are allowed, but the trail is not accessible. It sits close to the Sabino Canyon Recreation Area, about half a mile from the Cactus Ramada 1 and 2 campgrounds. The cooler months are the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show March highs around 74°F and November highs around 75°F, while summer highs there typically reach about 100°F in June and July. Rattlesnake and Creek Trail #52 both start within a tenth of a mile. Phoneline Link Trail #27A is a mountain biking route about 0.2 miles away, and Sabino Canyon Recreation Area Cactus Ramada 1 is about 0.4 miles off.
