Murray Springs Clovis Site Trail is a short, easy loop on Bureau of Land Management land in the Tucson Field Office, about 0.43 miles long and rising just 19 feet from a low point of 4,182 feet to a high of 4,196 feet. It's a quick outing, and the low climb makes it easy to fit into a longer day on the surrounding trails. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from the nearby Sierra Vista weather station show April highs around 77°F and October highs around 80°F, while June and July average in the low 90s and bring the most wet days of the year. The San Pedro Trail, a mountain biking route, lies about 1.5 miles away. The Petroglyph Discovery Trail is about 4.4 miles off, and the Barchas Ranch Trail 9 and Brown Canyon are both within about 10 miles.
