The Prow is a climbing area in Arizona on State Trust Land, managed by the State Department of Land. It sits among a cluster of named climbing areas, including Welcome Wall, The Gap and The Coop, each about 0.1 mile away, which makes it easy to pair with other routes in the same part of the state. Sport climbing dominates the area, with four routes in the 5.10 to 5.13 range. The hardest is Time at 5.13a, and the easiest is Koalas in Space at 5.10+. The others are The Beginning of Time at 5.10c and an unnamed 5.11d. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to climb. At the nearby Ft Huachuca Pioneer Airfield weather station, typical averages run to highs around 77°F in April and 79°F in October, while June and July average highs near 93°F. That station sits nearly 900 feet lower than The Prow, so temperatures up high run cooler.
