Pomona Mine is a hard hike in the Sierra Vista Ranger District of Coronado National Forest in Arizona, about 3.4 miles long with a one-way climb of 1,659 feet. The trail starts at about 5,560 feet and reaches 7,220 feet at the high point, and it is an out-and-back route on natural surface. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is not accessible. Bikes are not allowed, so plan on hiking both ways. The closest neighbor is the Brown Canyon mountain biking area, about half a mile away, and the Braniard Loop hike is under a mile off. For an overnight stay, Ramsey Vista campground sits about 2.3 miles away, and Reef Townsite Campground is about 2.7 miles away.
