Little Rock is a moderate hike in the Red Rock Ranger District of Coconino National Forest in Arizona, about 4.8 miles long with a one-way elevation gain of 31 feet. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail's natural surface makes it a straightforward outing. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Sedona show April highs around 75°F and October highs around 79°F, while July averages climb to about 97°F. Rabbit Ears and Jacks Canyon #55 both sit about half a mile away. Climbers can head to Oak Creek Spire, roughly 0.8 miles off, and Chavez Crossing campground is about 4.5 miles away.
