Ant Hill Loop #666 is a short, easy loop hike in the Red Rock Ranger District of Coconino National Forest in Arizona, about 0.6 miles long with a total elevation gain of 38 feet. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is part of the Red Rock Ranger District. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Sedona show April highs around 75°F and October highs around 79°F, while July averages climb to about 97°F. The loop is a short outing, and it works well as a quick stop or a warm-up before heading to other spots in the area. Bikes and horses are both allowed. Cibola Pass #187 is about 0.2 miles away, and the Jordan mountain biking trail is about 0.3 miles off. Climbers can find Sphinx aka Cibola Mitten about 0.5 miles away, and Chavez Crossing campground is about 2.7 miles away.
