Adobe Jack #660 is an easy, short hike in Arizona's Coconino National Forest, within the Red Rock Ranger District. The route is about 4 miles long and rises about 24 feet, making it a gentle walk with little elevation change. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Sedona show October highs around 79°F with lows near 51°F, and April highs near 75°F with lows around 44°F. Summer highs there reach the mid-90s. The trail is an out-and-back, and the high point is about 4,504 feet. The route is open to both horses and bikes, and the Soldier Pass trailhead parking is the starting point.
