Sylaward Mtb Cogs Loop is a short, easy loop in the Talladega Ranger District of the National Forests in Alabama, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is about a mile long, with a low point of 632 feet and a high of 701 feet, and it rises only about 36 feet over the course of the loop. The trail is natural-surfaced and is not open to horses. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Sylacauga show October highs around 76°F with lows near 49°F, and April highs around 75°F. Summer runs hotter, with July highs near 90°F. The loop sits among a cluster of other Sylaward Mtb routes.
