Golf Course Loop is an easy out-and-back hike in Lake Guntersville State Park in Alabama, managed by State Park and Recreation. The route is about 4.8 miles long, with a total elevation gain of 199 feet, and it starts and ends at roughly 1,050 feet, reaching a high point of about 1,118 feet. The steepest stretch comes at about 1.6 miles in, with a grade of 8 percent. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go.
