700C/Plumb Line Crag bouldering is a bouldering area in the Laramie Ranger District of the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest in Wyoming, managed by the Forest Service. It sits close to Plumb Line Crag, with the Lower Tier and Upper Tier climbing areas just a short distance away. The name "700C" points to a specific cluster of boulders here. The climbing is all bouldering, and the area has five routes, with grades ranging from about 5.8+ to 5.11 on the YDS scale and from V0+ to V3 on the V scale. Among the named routes are Unamed Crack 1 at 5.10+ and Unamed Wide Roof at 5.11. The boulders sit at roughly the same level as the nearby Laramie 4SE weather station, which sits about 600 feet lower, so temperatures on the crag run cooler. Summer is the most comfortable time to climb. Typical July averages from the Laramie station, which sits at about 7,390 feet, run to a high of 81°F and a low of 52°F, while winter highs stay near freezing. Plumb Line Crag is about 0.2 miles away, and Lower Tier and Upper Tier are each about 0.3 miles away. For a longer outing, Vedauwoo Campground is about 2.9 miles away.
